What it’s All About…
The Holidays can be an especially difficult time for families. It is also a time that our Team can band together, and do some of our most important work. Below is a letter we just received, that truly honors the importance of not only What we do, but How we go upon it.

Dear Friends at Hired Hands,
Thank you so much for honoring the life of Rody with the planting of a tree in his name. That is a lovely way to be remembered, and will be appreciated by our family.
Each day I think of the fine people who were involved in Rody’s care. I think of the consistent and constant arrivals with a smile and a good morning to start the day. David and Wilfred became the heart of Rody’s care, and both were unfailing in gentle patience. More than kind… they were truly caring. Callie and Becky both arrived to give care at a very difficult time, and did so beautifully.
I want to share with you that in January, as one of my final contributions as a member of the Board of Directors at Villa Marin, I will be participating in some discussions on a future guide for the resident who may need the help of a Private Duty Aide. I will certainly refer to the examples and standards that I have experienced with Hired Hands.
I send appreciation and good wishes to each of you, and acknowledge the excellence of your service in a very challenging business.
Sincerely,
Marilyn K
