History & Philosophy

Home Care with a History of Excellence

Hired Hands Inc. is a family owned and operated company, founded in Mill Valley, CA in 1994.  Lynn Winter, CEO, is a registered nurse with over 30 years of homecare experience, ranging from Nursing Supervisor to Senior Vice President of a major international home care corporation. Hired Hands Homecare was founded to enable her to offer only the best of all that she had learned and experienced, creating an organization that provided Seniors with a broad array of services to help them remain comfortable and independent in their own homes.

Today, Hired Hands Homecare provides security and peace of mind by delivering high quality caregiving services to anyone who would find their lives and home more manageable with an extra pair of hands, or when being alone is no longer an option.

From day one, our core philosophy has been that happy, supported employees will provide the caliber of services that result in happy & satisfied clients.  Hired Hands Homecare is dedicated to providing only the highest quality homecare experience, coupled with outstanding customer service.  At the same time, we’re committed to offering excellent employment opportunities and job satisfaction to our amazing caregiving team.
